When you think of うどん, you may think of a tasty meal.  I thought of a tasty Japanese lesson.  
Here is what happened during our 散歩 (walk) today:
We step out the door with our two dogs and Makoto in a stroller. 
Clay: 今夜、うどんはどう？ 
Yumi: いいね。
We walked a few minutes.  パタパタ・・・パタパタ・・・ (the sound of light footsteps)
Clay: たくさんのうすあげをいれてね。
Yumi: あ、あげががない。
Clay: [...]

My favorite animal has always been the squirrel.  Yes, I know they are just rats with a long, fluffy tails, but they are just so かわいい.  That is, when they don't make a noise.
