About a year ago we bought Makoto this music book.  He loved it so much we still use it today.  I decided to get a bunch in for the store with hopes of making a special "Makoto's Selection" for teaching Japanese to children (eventually).  

We finally got our first shipment of this first volume and the second. 

Each book has 16 traditional Japanese children's songs with all the lyrics (in hiragana) and even the musical notation.

It is a sturdy book that has survived despite Makoto's best tries.  (The book on the first video is Makoto's actual book )
