It seems I may have gotten our hero’s name wrong. 春のワルツ’s main character in Japanese is:

ユン・ジェハ

No dispute here. ユン is his family/last name and ジェハ is his first name. You’d think this would be an uncomplicated matter - but you’d be wrong. Deadly wrong.

Well, I don’t know too much about Korean phonology, but it turns out his name does a change without his last name present.

It is チェハ apparently.

60,700 Google hits for チェハ

And the winner is…　チェハ. From now on, unless I use his full name, I will use チェハ.
