I stumbled upon this a year or so ago, but seeing it today made me want to blog about it.

In the prestigious Wikipedia “Toilets in Japan” page, TheJapanesePage.com is cited in the footnotes here.

While this is a great honor to be sure, I believe this article is the only place TJP is cited as a source. I would feel slightly more honored if it had been a more sanitized subject. Why not the “Learn Japanese in five minutes” page. Or perhaps the “Japan has much more to offer than just their high tech or low tech toilets” page.

Perhaps as a consolation prize, however, we are named as an ‘external link’ on the Japanese Proverbs page.
