Kansai Timeout

Kansai Time OutSomeone had mentioned they heard about one of our Super Suiyoubi deals from this blog. Far more people come here from links on TJS or TJP, but occasionally it goes the other way around. So, this entry will expand upon the bit about today’s deal found at TJS. Kansai Time Out.

Until tomorrow ALL Kansai Timeout back issues are a whopping 65% off making it less than $2 an issue. This is way below my cost (and original Japanese cover price too), but I don’t think I’ve sold one KTO in the past 6 months. That’s bad. Especially bad when I have dozens of issues in stock just sitting there.

It’s also a shame considering how interesting of a magazine it truly is. Of course some information is dated (Museum exhibits, concert times, etc), but the vast majority of the information is still relevant or interesting to those who love the Kansai area.

Cultural articles on anything Japan, Book and Movie reviews only found here, Information about art museums in Kansai, Info on tons of clubs and associations for foreigners living in Japan and of course the interesting ads. KTO is a very informative (and now cheap) magazine!

Each issue is all in English and all about living in Japan - specifically in the Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe…). If you are thinking of living or visiting that area of Japan, here is your chance to read up on the cultural scene for a very inexpensive price!

The deal is good until Thursday (August 16, 2007) Morning.
