JBrute 1.0 Released!

JBrute is a very simple, very complete Japanese / English dictionary program for Widows. It is targeted at intermediate learners who need an easy way to lookup non-electronic text. The 0.9 release of JBrute was well received in March of this year. This summer, the 1.0 upgrade was posted. It improves on the earlier version with both usability (search history, sortable columns, etc) and stability. It’s quite simple to use and is based on publicly available data collected, edited and popularized by Professor Breen of Monash University in Austrailia. The distribution included with the present release has > 125,000 and 150,000 example sentences. It’s still free.
