I just finished watching The Lives of Others. What a powerful film!

If you haven’t seen it, I won’t spoil the fun, but what a great line to end the movie:  “Nein es ist für mich.” (No, it is for me.)  As the dust settled, I was wondering how the movie could wrap up to ice the cake–a bad ending can ruin a perfectly good story–and this subtle way was just perfect.  Well done!
