Amazon’s Kindle Turns Two

The Kindle is almost one, but Amazon just announced they are releasing Version Two on February 24th.
If you bought a Kindle 1, Amazon is putting you first in line for Kindle 2, but it doesn’t look like you will be getting  a discount. But that is the price of progress!

Katydid the Hopping Leaf

Yesterday, Makoto found an interesting insect. It was a grasshopper that looks like a leaf. Doing a quick Google search, I think it may be called a ‘Katydid.’

Mangajin was the greatest magazine for Japanese learners in the 90’s.  The magazine is sadly deceased, but it lives on with these two compilations.
